Our Management Team  

Jane Race, Southern Tutors’ Managing Director, has taught in schools in Surrey and Oxfordshire.  She has a postgraduate Masters degree, a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in History and a Diploma in Higher Education (Educational Studies) from the University of Oxford. Jane Race is a life member of The Oxford Union. 

Rosemary Najim, our Educational Director, is a successful qualified school teacher and private tutor.  She has taught in primary, secondary and further education for over thirty years. She has a wide knowledge of the needs of students at different stages of their education.  Rosemary is a graduate of the London School of Economics, University of London and the Institute of Education, University of London.

Our elite team of tutors are highly qualified teachers from the top universities including Oxford, Cambridge and St Andrews. Their vast experience includes teaching at schools such as St Pauls, Tiffins and Nonsuch Grammar Schools and many other successful public, independent and comprehensive schools. They have a proven track record of obtaining excellent results from their students.  Many of our tutors have received awards for Academic Excellence from very prestigious universities and come from a diverse range of backgrounds from 'A' Level Exam Board Members to on set location tutors from films including the Harry Potter series.
